First Steps

We love it when newcomers come and check us out. You will find we are a warm, friendly, and relaxed congregation. We encourage you to simply be yourself and come as you are.

There are four First Steps we recommend to help you decide whether our church is a good fit for you and your family, and a place where you can grow in your faith:

• Come to worship and take the three-week challenge. That is, you’ll want to try us out for a few weeks to see if our congregation is a good fit for you. On your first visit, be sure to pick up one of our gift bags on your way out. It is our gift to you, and it contains some information about our church we think will be helpful. We also have welcome bags for youth and children.
• Sign up to receive our church newsletter. Our church newsletter is sent out by email every Friday, and
  contains lots of helpful information on our ministries and events.
• Attend our Discover FCC gathering. Discover FCC is a brief, informal gathering held every other month during or after our worship services on Sunday. At Discover FCC you can ask any questions you might have about the church, meet some of our staff, and learn a bit about who we are, what we believe, and how you can get involved. Look for the date of our next Discover FCC gathering in your Sunday bulletin and in our newsletter or Contact the church office at office@farmingtoncommunitychurch.org for more information.
• Attend our membership class. If you want to go deeper in learning how we got started, what we believe, how things work around here, and how you can be a part of it, sign up for one of our membership classes, offered quarterly. After attending this class you will have the opportunity to become a member of the church, if you choose.
